Video: Mistakes to Avoid When Applying for Big Data Jobs


According to research from McKinsey & Company, the United States is approaching a talent shortfall in the Big Data space. So for data professionals with the right credentials and experience, it’s definitely a seller’s market. Nevertheless, the most attractive positions will be highly competitive and selective.

I asked Todd Nevins of Big Data job board icrunchdata to share his best advice for job applicants. In the video below, he shares the three mistakes to avoid when applying for data science jobs and why professionals must invest in their online presence today.
